**Q: What type of plastic is it made from?**
A: Pretty cheap plastic tbh. But ok for a beginners set. Certainly won't make a decorative feature. The draughts pieces are NOT magnetic.

**Q: What does Hand-Carved Wooden mean?**
A: 100% plastic in wood colour apparently from my recent order!!

**Q: Can the pieces be stored within the folded chessboard?**
A: If you receive the set shown on the picture, the pieces fit in nicely. I have ordered two identical sets and both came different, one as on the picture and one much smaller, cheaper looking and rather cheap and nasty, not opened that one as sending it back

**Q: it is a magnetic board, or only a magnetic closer? Will the pieces stick to the board?**
A: I have ordered two sets, one came just like on the picture, the board is magnetic and so is the clasp. A very decent product, the second one (exactly the same order) came made of cheap plywood, metal clasp and much smaller than the first one. so i suppose you get what comes. I'm sending my second one back

All the pieces fit inside the chess board when it folds over and locks making it ideal for traveling. Perfect for keeping all the pieces in a safe place. I bought this for my son as he loves chess and it looks really good for the price. It is nice and light but looks more expensive. The clasp to open the chess board can be a bit fiddly, but once you get the hang of it its really simple to open.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy PLASTIC megnetised travel chess set.

Well... not what I expected, but actually OK. Please note the description is VERY misleading, as no part of this set is made of wood or is 'hand-carved by artisans', the chess pieces, the board are ALL high quality PLASTIC. But I have not sent this back as it is actually very good, light weight, magnetised pieces and sturdy. Ideal for travelling. It is a practical and inexpensive chess set. The draughts (checkers) pieces I like less as they have rounded sides and so do not stack at all well. But all things considered for thirteen pounds a perfectly acceptable chess set. The pieces come with simple netting bags and fit neatly inside the folding board.
