Review: Great strings! A repeat purchase! - These are my favorite strings and I was happy to find them on desertcart with such quick shipping! I’m not the most advanced guitarist but I find that they play really well and are comfortable on my fingers, even if I’ve been playing for a few hours. They are labeled well and easy to string on the guitar. I also find that I don’t have to tune very often, and when I do they’re only slightly out of tune. This set has been on my guitar for about 2 months and they still sound great, bright but not tinny and the lows have a good amount of bass without sounding muddy.
Review: Stay away from the 2006 extra light & get these 2008 rock & blues instead. - I got the 2006 extra light strings 1st. The G string is coiled or wrapped. The coil frayed & had nicks in it almost right away. I decided to get the 2008 rock & blues strings for my other acoustic guitar to give them a try. Soo much better & the G string is not coiled. I ordered a 2nd set yesterday & got them today with free shipping. I replaced the 2006 strings for these 2008 strings. Big difference, they are softer & sound & play way more better.😉 Do yourself a favor & stay away from the extra light ones & get these 2008 rock & blues instead. My uncle has been playing for yrs & told me these are the only ones he buys. They are much brighter as well.
