I had small doubts after reading reviews that talked of how serious and deep some of it would be..but what I found touched my heart in such a way as to leave a mark of remembrance of the book and especially the main characters. I was also so refreshed by the fun element...Bobby and Rig were not just totally loveable and caring, but so damn funny!! I laughed so hard at some points it was fantastic. Their banter of an old married couple was not just great to read it was also really touching in the way they lovingly infected Mason (who by the way was such a gentle, kind and intelligent man) with how they interacted.The way Bobby and Rig fell for Mason was beautiful, carefully written and not rushed.. and I fell for all three of these lovingly painted charecters. I only have one gripe and it is simply to say that I would love more books based on these three characters because one is definitely NOT enough! I know there is the possibility they will appear in others of the series which I have not yet read...but I crave more of their personal journey with Mason and how he overcomes some of his social anxiety..such as maybe going to the club. Suffering myself to a degree with social anxiety I understood Mason's fears and thoughts around meeting people and have to say this author painted a very real picture for me. My heart melted at how Bobby and Rig handled Mason's near panic attack and earlier when they help drunk Mason to sober up and hold him through his pain.I am very picky about what I read...looking for many different things in a book...deep and believable characters, captivating plot that grabs your heart in different directions, and touching emotional connections especially in dealing with bdsm fiction..this had it all...and more ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Abslutely amazing read x *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 July 2015* Oh how I love menages....Mason....Rig and Bobby.....This one started off quite hard to read and tears flow on the first couple of pages...It starts with Mason attending one of his Doms funeral....He has the ashes of one but the other ones family denied him the burial he wanted...To read what Mason went through losing both his Doms in an accident was horrible....You really feel for him and just want to hug him so tight.....When Bobby gets a weird feeling that he must go check on Mason a few days after first scaring the poor man, him and Rig save Masons life....They find him drunk and possibly on he brink of suicide....they don't immediately jump into a relationship...most of the book is about Rig and Bobby helping Mason get over his Doms deaths..With them losing their sub seven years previously they know what he's going through....I can't help think that Mason had it slightly harder seeing as Rig had Bobby and Bobby had Rig but you feel for all three of them...and with help of a friend Max (who I know is in the next book) they manage to come together as a family.....When Rig and Bobby take Mason the Folsom you kind of want to hug Mason even tighter as he is not good in social situations and he has to meet Micah who is just so bouncy and bubbly but you know his doms are going to watch over him....Another great read and onto the next one which i just know is going to be my fav x ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant *by L***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 June 2017* A brilliant story in the series and I Loved every minute of the hard to put down book.
