All ringer and call volumes were excellent and more than loud enough for us. Speakerphone is excellent and very handy when you're on hold! Answering machine is excellent with plenty of options for example call screening via handset or base station. Call blocking features are also on here. No connection issues with full bars on all 3 handset around my home. Overall a very good quality phone in my opinion. Review: Good for the price, but... - BT has clearly, deliberately dumbed down the spec of these phones to account for the relatively low price....for the following reasons. The missed call icon is a very small, very thin, flashing arrow that appears in the top left corner of the display when you, err, miss a call. You can't see it when the screen isn't lit, and not only that, you can hardly see it when you lift the handset off the base to light it up. Very poor. It could do with a bigger, bolder, solid, non flashing icon further down the screen where you'd stand a better chance of seeing it. Also, the way the date and time are displayed is a little primative. The phone won't let you opt for a 24hr clock, so 1646 appears as 04.46P......so 1970s. The ringtone choices are very limited too. Other than that, the handsets are nice to hold, call quality is good and when inputting your personal phone book you only need to do it on one, all the others get updated automatically. I've not had any stability issues in the cradles either. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use *by S***B on 8 September 2023* Bought these to replace previous one version of these that were over 15 years old. They do everything you expect and work really well. They are easy to set up. The base station is compact and the unit has easy to use buttons to opperate the answer phone option. I haven't had to use that as in this day and age people just call your mobile if they need you. The phones seat well in their bases and the size, button layout and weight are good for elderly people. The blue back lit screen is OK, but not super easy to see if your eyesight is really poor. The phone book is simple to set up and use. There is a previous caller list and a redial button. There are no dedicated quick dial buttond as far as I can see. The bases have a blue light so makes them easy to find in the dark. We have had one handset off charge for 3 days before it still had one bar. There is a find option on the base station to locate missing handset.
