I had purchased a pre-wash treatment from another brand and the order was canceled, so this is the first product of this type I have used. I also use an absorbent hair towel or turban after washing my hair and I’ve noticed faster drying time, less frizz, and better hair health since I started using that. My understanding of the purpose of the pre-wash treatment is to strengthen the hair cuticle and protect it from damage prior to wetting and shampooing. This product smells nice, the ingredients look like quality ingredients, and I enjoy spreading it in my shoulder length hair and working it through with a comb before my shower.
