I was SO RIGHT! These shoes earned me a coolest mommy award for sure. Based on other reviews, I ordered up a size and the fit was just about perfect (with room to grow). Pumas have a "kinder fit" system showing where the kiddos toes should hit - leaving about an inch of space in front of the toes. At first I thought the shoes seemed a little too big, but my son assured me they were great, and I like that he will be able to wear them for a while. We just received the shoes last night, so I can't speak to how long the lights will last...but they are super bright and work perfectly. The solid color pumas not only light up but show the skeleton of the puma - totally like nothing I have ever seen before. What a great effect! I promise that you will not be disappointed with this purchase. The shoes seem to be made a nice quality materials too. They did not even come in her size so I found these and thought-blue and light up...meets criteria! I am happy I read reviews because if I had ordered her real size they never would have fit. Fit small is an understatement. These are a size and a half larger than her size and they fit just right. I was trying to go up a half size over the suggested order a size up. THis 13.5 fits like a 12. I find this really frustrating as a parent and comsumer. Why have any size listed...it is really horribly measured. Shoe sizes are actually standardized measurements by country so get it right PUMA!
