I haven't used it yet, so I will update on how it fares at the 3 day concert this next weekend. The connector piece on mine wasn't clear and inline like the ones pictured but a large 3" long grey cross shaped piece. The tube sticks out of it at a straight angle, and the whole piece is just clunky and awkward, so it's not going to be nice and round, in addition to taking on a strange lopsided square shape from the packaging bag. One end can be pulled gently to unclasp it. I've so far used this feature to loop it up twice so I will be able to pack it away during the day, because a clear tube with a few glitter flecks and wires inside isn't attractive in the least when not lit up. A single press of the button turns it on/cycles through the modes: fast chasing, slow chasing (maybe), flashing, left-right, and combo. It has been a little inconsistent with number of presses for mode selection, I can't always access all the modes, and switching it off, so I'm leaving that as trial and error for each use.
