This is a lovely scratch board that he started using straight away. He was encouraged by the catnip that you sprinkle on the top. My cat scratches and rolls on this product. When he is nervous or anxious he also goes and scratches on this rather than my furniture. I would highly recommend this product as a stimulating toy and scratch board. The only downside is that the catnip can fall through the product but it is easy to sweep or hoover up. When it came it seemed like it’s just a bit of hard cardboard, but my cat absolutely loves it and has stop scratching on the chairs.She also like sitting on it. It is a tough cardboard and of course when the cat continually scratches on it bits of cardboard will come off and I’m sure that after some time I will have to replace it, though of course I will let her scratch up one side and then turn it over and then she’s got the other side to scratch, so I’m sure it will last quite some time before I need to replace it. I love the fact you can choose a colour on the side which matches the area that you want to put the scratch board in.
