Its wide, rounded blade provides plenty of surface area for moving peanut butter, jelly, mayonnaise, mustard, and other soft spreads where you want them without digging into delicate bread. The scalloped edge helps distribute soft spreads evenly across the surface while providing controlled contact with the bread, making it easier to achieve thorough coverage with fewer passes. Whether you are preparing a single sandwich or working through repetitive food prep, this butter spreader gives you the control needed to produce neatly finished results. Its compact blade also makes it a practical small butter knife for tasks where a larger utensil can feel cumbersome or difficult to control. Designed with repeated use in mind, the soft-texture SOFGRIP handle offers a comfortable, non-slip hold that helps maintain control as you spread, smooth, and portion ingredients. The combination of a comfortable handle and purpose-built scalloped blade lets you work efficiently while applying spreads evenly from the center of the bread toward the edges. Use this versatile butter spreader for sandwich stations, delis, cafés, cafeterias, concession operations, catering prep, or everyday kitchen tasks where speed and consistency matter. From building peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to adding mayo or mustard to rolls and buns, the compact design delivers precise handling without unnecessary bulk. When you need a small butter knife that can help streamline repetitive spreading tasks, reduce extra passes, protect soft bread from tearing, and create consistent coverage, the Dexter Russell SOFGRIP Sandwich Spreader is built to keep sandwich preparation moving.
