Thanks** A: Hi - the Optimate will do bikes with Canbus wiring (my BMW) and can switch to keep charging via other wiring systems as well. As is a can bus vehicle this Optimate had the option of plugging it into the accessory socket. It arrived with the can bus option already selected so just had to select the correct connector plug it into the vehicle and the mains. It performed an initial battery check cycle and then all indicators went green. It now monitors the battery and keeps it in tip top condition so the vehicle is ready to use at the turn of the key.
