DO NOT TAKE ANY NOTICE OF THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! The worst part is they claim you can pour boiling water on this plant without harming it!!??I have given 5 stars only for the plant itself, of which I have added a photo. This plant grows in Mexico on limestone rocky areas, and it does have roots, although they are only for anchorage, they do not take up water. It does best in shady areas, and survives and grows from rain, fog and mists. I have found it impossible to find definitive cultivation instructions for this plant, but it would seem that it should be sprayed thoroughly and watered with the same routine you would use on a desert cactus - i.e., a thorough watering, then wait till it has dried out completely then water thoroughly again. It would seem sensible to add a just a little fertiliser to the water.I have also seen photos of it growing on gypsum rocks. It is not a tuber. A potato is a tuber. The plant itself - I love it! Now it only remains to be seen if I can make it survive and thrive! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hassle Free plant *by L***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 June 2018* These are amazing, bought one for my mother and she's found it ' interesting' thought I'd get her something that if she forgot to water it, it wouldn't be a problem ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Four Stars *by M***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 July 2018* Ok --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/56619978-tropica-rose-from-jericho-selaginella-lepydophylla-1-tuber-xl](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/56619978-tropica-rose-from-jericho-selaginella-lepydophylla-1-tuber-xl) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
