I’ve only used it once, but I used it for three hours intermittently on for 3-5 minutes and on standby the rest of the time. The body of the monocular got very warm and the battery charged dropped to 25%. I have two thermal scopes in this price range that do not come close to the clarity the Zeiss has in the 400-600m range.
