I like the little indents on the back side that the prongs fit into. I wouldn't call them heavy duty - they will bend rather easy when you are working with them, but they are heavy enough and held well. Just a note: The title reads "Twist Fastener Turn Button for Canvas...". I didn't pay close enough attention at first to realize this item doesn't actually include the twist fastener turn button. I had to order them separate after I got the the clinch plates.
