These contain commands for their children, moral lessons, and prophecy. This legend is not only repeated among the Essene community, but fragments of twenty such records have been found in the Dead Sea scrolls! In this book you will read for yourself the testaments of Enos (Adam’s grandson), Enoch, Lamech (Noah’s father), Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Levi, Judah, Naphtali, Joseph, Benjamin, Kohath (son of Levi, and father of Amram), Amram (father of Moses, Aaron, and Miriam), and Aaron. You will see many extra-biblical prophecies of the Messiah, including Aaron’s warning about the Messiah's First Coming.Brought to you by Bible Facts Ministries, biblefacts.org Review: The Patriarchs... - Awesome reading the Testaments... Review: The Definition of a "Good Mind". - This is a modern translation of the testaments of some of the known biblical names (people) in the line of Israel. The most impactful ones to me are those of the sons of Jacob (Israel). Apparently it was tradition that when a patriarch knew he would die soon, he would call his family together, give them a brief review of his life, and refer to his life as a source of advice for his children on how best to live their lives in service to God. The older sons of Jacob revealed their lifelong sorrow for how their sins of their youth had affected them. The most meaningful testaments to me were: Issachar, who advises a simple, hard-working life in service to the Lord. Joseph, who advises continual prayer and study of God's word to avoid temptation, and Benjamin, who tells about a "good mind" that holds to the ways of the Lord: "The good mind... does not bless and curse, insult and honor, or spread sorrow and joy. It does not make peace and cause trouble, speak hypocritically and truthfully, or bring poverty and wealth. It only has one temperament: pure and uncorrupt concerning all men. It has no trouble seeing and hearing the truth, for in everything the Lord watches his soul and keeps his mind clean so that he will not be condemned by God or men." Wow! Dear Lord God, please give me a good mind! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #102,840 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #33 in Dead Sea Scrolls Church History #203 in Christian Prophecies #256 in Christian Eschatology (Books) | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 670 Reviews | ## Images ![Ancient Testaments of the Patriarchs: Autobiographies from the Dead Sea Scrolls - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61JT+5ZR0sL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Patriarchs... *by G***T on May 20, 2026* Awesome reading the Testaments... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Definition of a "Good Mind". *by A***F on September 17, 2018* This is a modern translation of the testaments of some of the known biblical names (people) in the line of Israel. Not only is this book fun to read, but it’s a great accessory to any meaningful Bible study. I read this as I finished the book of Genesis and it made the patriarchs come alive. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/56658042-ancient-testaments-of-the-patriarchs-autobiographies-from-the-dead-sea](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/56658042-ancient-testaments-of-the-patriarchs-autobiographies-from-the-dead-sea) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
