After about 2 weeks of trial and error, we developed a routine that works for both me and my cat, and his stools have been stable and solid. Our routine: I give him 50g of food at a time, let him eat it, then mix in 1 capsule in a syringe with a bit of water and a bit of pureed pumpkin. As soon as he is done eating I gently and slowly squeze the liquid into the side of the mouth/cheeck. So I have two comments specifically for individuals who are going through this for the first time - 1) be patient. Try different doses before saying it doesnt work. Stick with the dose for 2-3 days. If no improvement happens, try another dose and stick with that for 2-3 days, etc. 2) Speak with your vet.
