The editor selected short excerpts from his books, and organized them under the major themes of Mindfulness, Enlightenment, Emotions and Relationships, and Peace. The book is also great for those familiar with Thich Nhat Hahn’s writing. I’ve read a number of his books, but he has written more than 70. The editor did a wonderful job of presenting key insights and teachings through the excerpts, and has excerpts from books I have not read. The excerpts are the perfect length for some inspiration during the day or before bedtime. I also like the way the book is organized. Each excerpt has a title. In the back of the book is a section called “Sources.” For each excerpt title, the book is given that the excerpt comes from, and also the page number(s) in the book. I’m a senior citizen and I noticed that these pocket books seem to come in two versions. I think the books with the photos on the cover have smaller dimensions, and the books with drawings on the cover have larger dimensions. You can check this in the desertcart book descriptions. I purchased the larger version, with the drawing on the cover. The font in this version is large enough that it is easy for me to read.
