Review: Excellent but note… - Blum-ing marvellous. Blum are the best out there, the Blumotion soft close is fab. As others have mentioned, the slot in the fixing (to the cupboard carcass) is not big enough for the old fat stubby screws (called system screws) but you can open it out by putting a 5.0mm, then a 5.5mm drill through the bracket slots. Make sure you have it well clamped down as it will snag. Do try holding it in your hand. The rebate for door part is also very tight so make sure there is no paint in there. Again, you can run a chisel around the side and bottom to make it a perfect fit. Take 5 minutes to prep max, well worth it.

**Q: are mounting plate including?**
A: NO THEY ARE NOT! I double checked this before purchasing because I heard they often don't come with mounting plates but the pictures implied they did and the other answers reassured me. They shouldn't have - I now have to sort mounting plates and they'll take a week to arrive!

**Q: have lost the adjuster screw on the top hinge on one door.......... any ideas?**
A: Sorry, we did not provide hinge screw indenpendently on Amazon. We recommend you to make new replacement if your current hinges performance not well. Thanks

**Q: how to ajust hinge**
A: You can turn off the soft- closing damper function by the button on the hinge cup (see first photo).  You can also adjust your hinge to fit the door well by the screws on the hinge arm.

**Q: How many hinges do you get for the £8.99**
A: You get 2 hinges for £8.99, just as it says in the product details and shows in the photo.
They are very simple to fit and adjust, certainly the easiest I've ever bought.

Blum-ing marvellous. Blum are the best out there, the Blumotion soft close is fab. As others have mentioned, the slot in the fixing (to the cupboard carcass) is not big enough for the old fat stubby screws (called system screws) but you can open it out by putting a 5.0mm, then a 5.5mm drill through the bracket slots. Slowly working through the house replacing hinges with soft close. One of the hinge mounting plates turned up with no screws. Thankfully I had an old mounting plate of a similar type which sufficed. I now need to consider whether to use this source for my next batch (I don’t have any spare mounting plates so will need a full complement of screws). The actual hinges seem good though. Easy to fit and adjust.
