These crochet hooks are perfect for people with vision problems, or people who have trouble seeing to work on dark colored yarn. I hadn’t been able to use dark yarns in years, but with these lighted hooks, I’m able to crochet using deep purples, navy blues, and dark green or gray. I haven’t tried black yet. I gave a set to my 86 year old mother, and she likes them, too.The case is sturdy, and I like the selection of needles that come with it.
