Often, the 12v transformer/power supplies for halogen bulbs have a 12v AC output and some LED equivalents flicker on this AC supply - these ones don't. They are exactly as advertised - suitable for AC/DC. An excellent product in my experience/opinion. Some of the fittings for these types/shapes of bulb are a little awkward when trying to remove/replace the bulb.
