While I did explore some of the screen's multimedia capabilities, I found them not particularly useful for my personal needs. I simply required a device for CarPlay, and that's it.The device boots up quickly and automatically switches to CarPlay when the Lightning cable is plugged in, a convenient feature for those who want to get on the road as quickly as possible. For audio, the screen offers three options: a built-in speaker (somewhat tinny but loud and functional, suitable for interacting with Siri and receiving spoken map directions), an FM transmitter (though not recommended for making phone calls due to potential privacy concerns), and an analog AUX audio cable (ideal for those with a car equipped with an AUX port, unlike mine).A note on usability: if you have a Tesla and wish to use both the center screen and this smaller screen simultaneously, the iPhone handles it intelligently. Most CarPlay audio comes from the screen's speaker, while Bluetooth audio continues through your car if connected to your Tesla and not the screen.Here are some pros and cons of this screen:Pros:-Easy setup process-Affordable-Fast boot-up time and reliable wired CarPlay (wireless drains battery and makes the phone very hot quickly)-Decent screen visibility, even in direct sunlight-Adequate built-in speaker, clear enough for practical useCons:-Lightning cable not included-Power cable to the 12v accessory socket is quite short, requiring an extension for comfortable reach to the center console-Instructions are not the most detailed, with minor errors, but setup is generally straightforward-I encountered an odd issue where the CarPlay screen, particularly with Apple Maps, would glitch and not update for several seconds with a longer third-party cable. This was not tested with Waze. Switching to an official Apple Lightning cable seemed to resolve this issue. It's very annoying to pay for something that doesn't work. It turns on but I connect it to my car's audio and it can't be heard. It's very quiet. You can barely hear the music. The description said that it connects to FM frequencies to play the phone. I just couldn't find that. option after 2 hours trying everything I don't want a refund the seller must be very hungry for this to keep the money so it is better to pay more to have a new player installed in your car by professionals and not buy Chinese things

Love having this set up in my car. This works great and well worth the money. The screen is the perfect size and very clear. I have it set up using the aux. cable and I love the functionality. When I start the car, my phone connects within about 10 seconds. The features work just as advertised, wish I would have bought one sooner. Would definitely recommend for people with older cars that do not have car play built in.

It works great, is exactly what I wanted and could not have been easier to set up and install. One and only negative is that although you can lower the brightness of the screen slightly, it is still extremely bright for when you are driving at night in unlit areas. I wish I could dim it more. Knowing that, I would still recommend.

This was easy to connect via CarPlay and I connected the audio via the cable to the aux jack in my 2011 Kia Soul. Unfortunately engine noise was audible through the speakers so I had to return this (I don’t get engine noise when I connect my phone to the aux jack directly). Also the map updates about once a second, not smooth at all. I understand that at this price point the CPU isn’t going to be powerful and I could live with the rate of updates. On the plus side the screen is bright and responsive.
