The first being the ease with which you change out bag cartridges. You just pop it in the bottom (it holds two) and then pull a bag up to the top. This is so much easier than the original Diaper Genie. The next reason being that the bag refills and each bag lasts much longer than the other Diaper Genie version meaning less work. Also this Diaper Genie has a sleek look and is taller. It keeps the smell in fairly well. I’ve had a few very stinky diapers that would create smells each time the lid was opened, but once the lid was closed, it was contained.
