Overall, I am happy with this unit and plan to use ongoing. I like the range of motion using the arms, back, and legs with this workout. I was not looking to buy an expensive gym-level rower so I was impressed that this rower is rated highly, gives a decent workout, and is priced affordably. I've owned more expensive models that just have a straight pull back. If you have ever rowed an actual boat then you know that those feel nothing like rowing, just pulling back on a handle that is offering resistance. Resistance settings are 1-12. Ignore 1 through 7 go straight to 8 for a very affordable , simple and effective workout. Cons. Unless you are a Kardashian this seat will break your ass after several minutes. Buy a decent memory foam pad. If you are over 6 ft tall this is probably not the machine for you. I am 6 ft even and at full extension I hit the back stoppers with every stroke.
