For the high price, I was hoping for better absorbency, but they are definitely better than regular underwear. I would say they’re in between a diaper and underwear, but they look like regular underwear (just thicker). So if he was at a sleepover, no one would be able to tell. If my son has an accident without wearing these I have to strip the whole bed (we have a waterproof mattress cover on as well). If he has an accident wearing these underwear, the underwear and maybe the top sheet or comforter has to be washed, but not the fitted and mattress pad.
