At first I thought they where just normal planters but they actually have a separate bottom in the planter that holds water and the plants can actually suck up water though these felt taps as they need it which is very cool and saves you having to water them everyday

    Ok but not that robust

Good design for the trough also bought the associated brackets which didn't work on the railings I wanted to use. As a consequence trough slipped and shattered. Although it hardly fell any distance. Bought a second one fixed the brackets and it works well. Two days later chipped the edge when watering can hit it. No great problem but it does seem to be quite brittle plastic
