Very easy to put together, the instructions were very easy to follow. It’s not super heavy, but heavy enough to swing nicely and feel very sturdy!! All of the parts were included, and all of the pre-drilled holes fit perfectly. We polyurethaned all the wood and glued the slats together per the instructions as we put the door together. This is a beautiful door, which will last very long time. I would highly recommend it, for the price you absolutely cannot beat it! We used a gel stain in dark walnut & it was ! Overall assembly was easy & straight forward but NOT 30min as it states on the instructions, lol. With staining and taking breaks bc of work, life, 3 kids - it took about 5 days to get them hung. We did have to purchase a solid piece of wood for the rail to go on - that was not included. We stained that as well and it looks so good! My husband did a great job. He is an engineering perfectionist and even he was impressed.
