The ones I found were cheap looking so I never bought one. When looking this year I found this safe and it came in different colors Which was a plus. As with a previous review there are a couple of issues that better documentation would eliminate the confusion but I’ll still give it 5 stars as it wasn’t too hard to deal with. 1. Don’t use voice mode. When you activate it every button push the voice says “enter code” like it didn’t recognize what you hit until it gives you an error after the 4th button is pressed. Best solution for this is for it not to talk every time but at a minimum explain it in in the instructions. 2. It's confusing how to change your code. Took a few tries to figure out you had to press “and hold” the button when changing the code. Again, an easy change to the documentation will correct this. General observation, If you forget the code, removing the batteries will reset it back to the factory default which for kids is nice. Didn’t have that with my plastic combination safe. Latching mechanism seems sturdy enough. The dollar bill loading mechanism works nice. The bank is a nice size and larger than the one I have from when I was a kid which makes it better.
