Right on the page it states that this bypasses the severely flawed HDCP protocols. However, upon trying to get this product to do just that with my PS3 for streaming purposes, I only got the dreaded blue screens on AverMedia RECENTRAL 3 and OBS. No matter how I attempt to hook up the splitter, it will not display anything on the capture card. Manufacturer obviously knew most people who buy splitters buy them for the act of bypassing such a flawed DRM system that never did anything to stop piracy (and the PS3s HDCP was built right into the hardware making it impossible to just simply turn on and off because they didn't forsee Twitch or YouTube becoming a thing). Should have known.
