Great, just not dog-proof
I bought these gloves back in December 2015 and they have worked great until my puppy decided to chew the finger of the glove in half. (It's a wonder they aren't shredded) It was my fault for leaving them outside, not the products. But anyways, these gloves are great at keeping heat back for a short while, but if its hot enough, some of the heat travels through the gloves and you'll feel it and know to stop for a second. But these gloves are amazing. I have ordered a new pair and will be using them soon.

Not comfortable, but handle high heat
So far, these are the best for direct flame and/or heat gloves (for low price) that I have found after burning through about 10 different types, both online and at retail outlets. These are made in Pakistan and are not very comfortable, fairly tight for medium to large hands. I have now worn out 4 pairs of these in severe duty high heat environment and they hold up pretty well. Obviously, there are gloves +$80 that will outperform, but for $16.99 + tax, good value.

Nice, tough gloves.
Very heat resistant. Used them for a bit of smelting and they're also super helpful for barbecuing

Great quality but may run a little small
Got these as a surprise gift for my husband when he started getting more into his metal-melting hobby. His old welding gloves were totally worn out and not doing much good anymore, so he was psyched when he received these. He says they work great but were a little tight on his XL hands. 4 stars.

Defective - pinky finger sewn shut
Although these were very comfortable, the right hand pinky finger was sewn shut and I hand to return them as defective. The left hand was great :)

Handles basic Foundry and forge work well
Get these if you're doing a backyard foundry or forge. Not totally heat resistant but it will certainly let you handle very hot surfaces for a short amount of time

Worth the money for me.
I purchased these gloves to use with my smelting furnace. The gloves worked great no problems at all for me. They were comfortable and I had full range of motion in my wrists and fingers.

Very comfortable gloves that are better than my welding gloves now
Just as it says. Very comfortable gloves that are better than my welding gloves now. Havent put them to a lot of use yet so idk how the leather stiffens with heat but would buy again.
