When I added the updated I mistakenly deleted the original: Raccoons were jumping on our roof and using it as a latrine. As well, they bent our gutter out of shape. Called Nixalite. Had the roof cleaned and a new gutter installed. When they installed the gutter we had them add a leaf guard, and wire tie the spikes into the middle of the guard. So far so good -7-29-22 Just an update that the raccoons have not been on the roof since we installed the spike.
