I bought them for exams as I hate biro/ballpoints/etc and the typical ink pens that are advised for exams always smudge and bleed through the paper (and the tips are too thick).I would recommend them if you have small handwriting, prefer writing in pencil rather than pen (but have to resort to using pens for certain occasions) and for exams. They write smoothly and the ink is consistent unlike many other rollerball and gel pens.My only complaint is that they run out of ink a bit more quickly than I would have liked (but that may just be down to me using them for pretty much everything). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars These pens will change your life!! *by C***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2015* I LOVE these pens and they are so hard to find in stores! I originally started using them in Uni to write characters for my Chinese class, but now I use them for everything. I am obsessed! The fact that they are .5mm makes it easy to keep your notes neat and legible, even in limited space. Also, the design of the pen makes it much sturdier and easier to control than similar alternatives like the PILOT Hi-tecpoint V5 RT on which the nib is thinner and sticks out more which makes me worry that I will bend it when I write at an angle. Finally, these pens last forever.
