If the surface was cleaned with water or pressure washed prior to application, allow the surface to dry for at least 24 hours before sealing. While pressure washing the surface is typically sufficient, spot treatment may be necessary for deep or older stains. But two applications of this on my patio and around my Swim Spa and it is gorgeous and it is holding up thus far! All other products exposed to the extreme temperatures after a period of time start to fail discolor or dull and stop repelling the water. Oh and keeps a shine! Review: Easy to apply - I put down 3 coats. First two I did with a sprayer and back rolled. It took me a minute to get used to the sprayer but once I did it was pretty easy. The thrid coat I added the non slip to the gallon jug and just rolled it on. The non slip additive collected pretty densley in the bottom of the roller tray. Once the third coat dried I noticed a few spots on the pavers where the non slip collected as well and it you can see. Im not sure if it collecting on the pavers was from me just being in a hurry and not paying attention or if it was unavaoidable but it doesn't bother me too much. Overall it looks really good. What will happen if I used this product to refinish my pavers?** A: It's possible that the AX25 or any solvent acrylic could either delaminate or haze white(blushing). It's best to strip the old sealer off with a solvent coating remover in conjunction with a pressure washer. You could also consider hiring a pressure washing company with a hot water pressure washer. If the water is 190F+ and a turbo jet nozzle is used, it will typically lift off the water based acrylic from the surface. **Q: Can it be diluted** A: The AX25 should not be diluted (apply as is). **Q: How many square ft does this cover** A: On porous/unsealed concrete, each gallon usually covers about 100 square feet with two coats. On smoother/dense concrete, the coverage may increase to 175 square feet with two coats.
