The insecticidal smoke will control insects present at the time of treatment by direct contact action (space treatment). For the control of flying insects e.g. houseflies, cluster flies, mosquitoes, wasps and moths. Aids the control of crawling insects e.g. fleas, bed bugs, ants, cockroaches and stored product insects, e.g. Saw toothed grain beetles and adult grain weevils. Directions Place each smoke generator on a fireproof base of approximately 300 mm x 300 mm but NOT in a bucket or other enclosed space. Take the required number of smoke generators. Tear off tag and remove container cap. When a number of smoke generators are being used, space them throughout the area to be treated, and prepare all for ignition before lighting the first. The stable would obviously need to be empty. **Q: does this work on carpet beetles?** A: If you read the advert on Amazon it actually states what it is suitable for. **Q: Can i use this in a car** A: I suppose so. Provided it was sealed shut. Honestly I have no idea, but I definitely killed all the bugs in my room. I would not like to say for definite. Best thing I can suggest is contact the makers to ask.
