## Questions & Answers

**Q: What material is the shapening surface made of?  One comment mentioned 'paper' - is it something like sandpaper?  If so, are replacements available?**
A: I removed the abrasives that came with it, and cut replacements from a sheet of 220 grit sandpaper for the course, and 600 grit for the fine; then just attached them using a removable adhesive. I did need to cut the discs slightly being that the surface to which they are applied is tilted. This allows one to use it heavily and not worry about wearing out the abrasives.

**Q: Descripiton states it's a sharpener.  Image is of the replacement blade FOR a sharpener.**
A: Yes this is a sharpener for rotary blades.  It works very well, but go to You Tube and watch the video on how to us this it is very informative.  It really help me to use this sharpener correctly.  The directions on the label are not that clear.

**Q: Will it work on titanium blades?**
A: Yes. I have the 60mm sharper and it works great on the titanium blades.

**Q: Does this sharpener sharpen disks that have a single circle for attaching to the handle, my blades do not have an odd shaped center circle?**
A: I used only 45 mm rotary blades that have the odd shape in the middle so cannot answer.  But I must be honest and feel that this sharpener is not worth spending any effort on.  It does not sharpen that well.
