However this bag is so awesome I don't even care. To my surprise and delight, the front pocket has a zipper (it's not completely end to end, so if you had change in it it might fall out if it's upside down for some reason) and there are also side pockets on both sides. Watch out for scratches through because once the scratches are on the bag it is permanent. I have not discovered how to remove it.
