I couldn't have asked for a better plate - suction is really good, dishwasher safe, and the size is right for whatever we happen to be feeding her. We had a couple different bibs already, but I like the soft silicone one had already best, so I decided to go with this set last minute. I'm so glad I did because this is now my favorite bib. It's made of flexible silicone so she can more her arms freely, and the food catcher is actually sturdy enough to stay open and catch most of the food. It simply make things worse. The bib can hold some waste, but the baby simply like to tear it and flip it so it will come out all over the places. Second, the suction plate is not working as expected. We have oxo high chair and the “dinning table” is flat. But, when we put it in place and thought it is stable, the baby can easily pull it and eventually turn it over. It is messy. We tried without the food and baby like to play with it...
