I've been really good about not biting my nails for the past year, but my nails are still quite fragile and I was constantly having to cut them down and file them after splitting.I was recommended this by a friend. It comes with your standard nail varnish brush applicator, and it goes on easy. It dries down quickly and leaves a somewhat rubbery base behind. Personally, my preference at the moment is natural nails, so I put on a couple of coats of the ORLY Bonder, then a clear matte top coat to dull the shine. Not only does it do a great job as a base coat, but my nails don't flex half as much as they used to, nor do they flake or split!
