These NEBO lights are my favorites and most versatile among over a dozen battery powered lights. The magnet on the base is super strong and will firmly support the light in any position. I keep Larry stuck to my tool box where he is handy for under the hood car projects. I also stick Larry to the grill when cooking in the dark. The multiple LEDs fill an area with enough light to easily work with or search in dark corners. The Larry Pro version is just better in every way and has a clip that allows the light to be carried on your belt or maybe hung from a shirt pocket to free both hands. Outdoors the light doesn't penetrate very far into the darkness but indoors or around the campsite it's perfect.The flashing red strobe would be useful to stick to the car roof in an emergency or any steel surface on a boat or motorcycle. The Larry isn't the only light you will ever need but one you will want for almost everything.I've seen the reviews stating reliability issues but both of my Larry lights have been working fine. I have a smaller light that looks like the big Larry (not sure if it's a Nebo) and had flickering issues with it. Put some double sided tape on the charge base and then plug it in somewhere. You will always have a fully charged light at the ready for daily use or an emergency. I really like the red light feature for going out at night. It’s not a beam that projects a long way but it gives you great coverage for the area around you. It comes with a smaller portable charger that you can leave in your car or take on the go. This model being the β€œpro” comes with a very sturdy aluminum pocket clip and it’s magnetic on the bottom.
