And they'd always break and it was a huge pain in the butt to always waste my time in a salon for repairs or fills. I saw a friend of mine wearing glue on nails and I complemented her on them. She told me how she just keeps a bag of nails in her purse, and nail glue, and just glues them on if they fall off. I started doing this and it changed my life. I tried a bunch of nails out there and these are the best. Not too long so they don't break and I can still type at work. Look just as good as acrylic. I tried using nail buffing cream and a chamois and they got better but dulled again. Next I tried a coat of nail top coat. Dried quickly. The first coat seemed to just sink in. Three coats restored the full gloss.Very short; be advised. For me that was ok especially being bright red; looked very "french". I am pretty rough on my nails and therefore discovered that fake nails were my best option. At around 8 bucks a pair, I always felt like I wasn't getting my monies worth because I can only get a pair to last a week at the longest. These are much more affordable, and I can carry replacement nails with me.
