I have a tens 7000 and got this for the rechargeable battery. There is no Normal mode on this. Each mode is a minor variation on low intensity ramping to high then pause and repeat. Adjusting the power is a lot of clicking! And some times it's too low but just one click and it's too high, there's no in between. I have no idea why this has such high reviews. If you've used a tens 7000 you're going to find yourself disappointed in this. **Q: Why does this not have a universal charging port?** A: Thanks for your question. If you are using the old product then you will need a 2mm lead wire. If you are using the 4th generation then you will need to purchase a 2.35mm lead wire. Also the AUVON lead wire is only suitable for electrode pads with a 2mm pin connector, is it not compatible with the snap-on pads.
