Review: NOT CARBON FIBER - I'm starting a toothpick freestyle build using this frame and for the price I paid it's not bad, but I was pretty disappointed to see that the primary frame section is actually stamped metal or some kind of thin aluminum. In the pictures it is shown to be carbon fiber. So that was a bit of a let down. Instructions only so-so but you know what needs to go together for the end product. I transferred an NBD BLV5 AIO, NBD 1102 10000s, Gemfans 2 inch 3 blade props to this frame. The build was painfully long; lots of tiny things to put together. Nonetheless, we got to showtime and I flew it on a Tattu 650mah 7.6V long pack. No prop guards and 2S inside the house has to be a mellow flight but it was very cool. I popped in a Tattu 850mah 7.6V long pack and flew for over 13 minutes. I cannot wait to fly this build outside this weekend. The uprights and camera interface needs a little work but nothing a Dremel cannot solve to perfection. The deadcat design is awesome as I can't see the props. This thing should rip outside this weekend. Wait, one more picture on the scale. 43g sounds heavy but it is still punchy and flies smoothly.
