As with so many things, this is not the case anymore. They are of good quality, and do the job splendidly. The grapefruit (or 1/2 grapefruit) container is ideal, and stores the fruit well overnight. Some reviewers had trouble with the lid, but it should be mentioned that the lid is designed to fit on at certain positions, and then rotate about a quarter turn and lock, sealing the top tightly. The spoons are fine, sharply pointed with serrated edges. The knife, however, is worse than useless. No point, and a blade that's way too thick. I would not recommend this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Little Kitchen Gadget *by S***O on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2018* It's great to have a container to put the leftover grapefruit in and it keeps in the fridge much longer. The spoons cut right thru the "skin" as does the knife, and makes it quick and easy to get all the grapefruit out of the rind. However, I'm only giving this item 4 stars instead of 5 because when I received the kit, the knife was bent at the tip and I couldn't straighten it out.
