After it was dry, I painted over it with a mixture of white wood paint and water then used a lint free rag (or old shirt) and immediately wiped the paint. You want to make sure you wipe over it with the rag immediately after brushing on the paint or it will dry pretty thick. This gives it the weathered gray look. After I was done, I let it dry for a good 4-5 hours and then took my hand sander and sanded the whole thing to make it look a little more weathered. Hope this helps! **Q: Beautiful job.
