Review: The highlight of my kitchen - Okay, so I just want to say how much I absolutely love this little kitchen island/breakfast bar!!!! It has been the prefect solution to my very limited counter/ storage dilemma in my new place. I will say this (I know this may seem like a stupid remark to note, but I'm going to do it anyways!!), make sure to mind the dimensions of the product and be sure that you have adequate amount of space for it.....BECAUSE SHE IS QUITE LARGE. That being said..........She is the prefect addition to my kitchen space, making a seamless but very obvious separation of kitchen and living room space, in an open concept layout. People ask me all the time if the house came with the island, and I proudly tell them that I bought it from desertcart. It functions beautifully as both an island for me to prep my meals while cooking, to store my spices, ziploc bags, grocery bags, you name it ..... there's plenty of room to store whatever you may need. It's the prefect height and enough space to double as your full-time kitchen table. I do wish there were different color choices, but that is just nit picking at this point. Assembly was fairly easy, as long as you follow the instructions. The material overall is pretty solid, i can not complain!! I would say for the price and what you get.....it's an obvious bang for your buck.

Was very easy to assemble, my husband put this island together by himself in about 1.5 hours. the bottom side of the countertop arrived damaged as there was a dent in it, but you can’t see it when the leaf is folded down. there are metal bars in the middle of the island when the leaf is down, but a table runner will work for me! the countertop is on a track, which i wasn’t expecting but it’s cool and i like it. overall, it is okay and works. definitely good deal for the price.
