**Q: will this retain the images stored when the power is turned off**
A: Thank you for your question. According to the product details; Images can be captured and up to 20 can be stored. If the image has been stored prior to the power being shut off then yes, if not you will lose the image.

**Q: How about the voltage? It's work on 110v & 240v ??**
A: Yes 110v, but it comes with it is rechargeable and includes the power cord with attachments from a variety of plugs

**Q: My unit will no longer take a charge - it gets hot when I'm trying to get it to charge - do I need to replace a battery of something**
A: Hi Patricia - Have not seen that before, but it sure sounds like there is a problem with your battery.  Eschenbach is a stand-up company, as are we, so I would suggest contacting the seller from you purchased the item so you can arrange for a return.  Not sure when you purchased it, but if its within their 1 year standard warranty, they will repair or replace it for free.
