Review: Mini Donut Maker - We've wanted to try making donuts at home for some time. This maker gave us the chance to give it a try. The machine makes 12 mini sized donuts at a time. There are recipes included in the instruction booklet. We did use a different recipe for our first time. It is recommended to use a zip top bag as a pastry bag to control the batter going into each form. The donuts were cooked through at about 4 minutes. The non-stick surface worked well - I sprayed non-stick spray only once and found it really wasn't needed as long as the maker is preheated. The donuts were easily removed with a silicone tong and were ready for glaze and sprinkles in no time. The donut maker worked exactly as expected - the machine is simple, no power switch, just plug it in. It will be fun experimenting with recipes and combinations. This would be a fun activity or make a great gift. The thickness is good. And the value it’s great.
