My face has felt like a lawnmower went over it. This thing, I do not put it on like in in the picture. I hold it across my face and even against my chin, etc. It is soft and soothing. It helps with the aching. It doesn't last that long until it "thaws" out but that is good in a way because if used on your face you should have it in small increments. You know, delicate skin, cold. So that part doesn't bother me but if it was longer that would be better. I am glad i bought this. I put it right back in the freezer.
