We got them to keep our cats out of the cupboards. They install so easy and work really well. Such an impressive design. They don't show from outside at all. So far they seem strong with the 3m adhesive. I cleaned each place I was putting them with rubbing alcohol first. They do come with little screws as an alternative if you need them.
