Hundreds of crush-resistant polyethylene tips form full bodied branches to create a tree with remarkable realism. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. **Q: What's the difference between model pedd1-312ld-75x (this tree) and model pedd1-d12-75? the specs are similar but this one's cheaper on most sites.**
A: Hello,
They are for the most part the same tree.  The only difference is that the PEDD1-D12-75 features the PowerConnect(TM) through-the-pole lighting system that eliminates the need for connecting multiple light strings, reducing set up time.  where as the PEDD1-312LD-75X does not.  That is why you are seeing a price difference..  We hope that helps to explain the difference.

A: It does shed a bit.

**Q: What kind of adapter do I need to plug my angel into the top outlet on the tree?**
A: I ran an extension cord with another foot switch on it to avoid having to unplug it all the time. I found my additional foot switch at Target for about $8.
