Its well made out of a thick silicone material, fits my XC5.0 HIGH Output battery perfectly. Adds protection to your batteries, it was easy to fit on to the battery, hence the opening is elongated to slip the battery in without fighting it. The actual color in reality, is a semi translucent dark gray, which is a nice contrast with the black and red of the tool. For the price for 3 boots, its a good deal to protect the battery from getting gouged up or chipped, these batteries aren't cheap. Review: Great battery sleeves - I always have been pretty hard on my tools and have been looking for something that will preserve them and these are a perfect fit for my batteries, don't fall off, don't get in the way and allow for easy charging. Definitely get these if you want to protect you batteries and help them not get damaged if they end up falling. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits Well and Feels Durable *by A***R on 25 January 2025* I was on the fence about purchasing these because they are off brand Chinese pieces and that can be tricky with respect to fitment and build quality. I have to say that I am really impressed with what showed up. I test fit one of these on an M12 5.0 battery and it fit very nicely. These are fairly thick, but they stretch enough to ease installation. I don’t have any idea how well they will hold up over time, but they feel good so far and will surely help keep my batteries from getting scratched or gouged. My only concern that isn't mentioned anywhere is how resistant they are to oil/gas/solvents. I plan to use these during automotive repair. The other thing I thought about is that they likely insulate the battery and may trap heat, which isn't ideal for a battery. I don’t use my tools professionally, so they probably won't ever get hot enough for that to be a significant factor for me, but it’s something to be mindful of and monitor if you use these covers on a tool they will be working hard. If the manufacturer is reading this, please build some of these for the M12 compact batteries.
