I believe a wire came loose with over 5 years of wear and tear. I didn’t want to spend much, just needing a simple replacement. This cord did the job well, while fitting a nice price point. It’s very well made, the socket end seems nicely reinforced, which wasn’t the case with the original cable. The braiding is a nice touch, but I don’t know if this is cosmetic of functional.
